Six everyday Frigidaire workhorses, one team that gets them running again.
Specific issues we see on Frigidaire appliances every week — and exactly how we tackle each one.
Frigidaire fridges commonly show SY EF (evaporator-fan circuit) and SY CE (control communication) when cooling drops; you may hear the fan stop or labour. We test the fan, defrost system and boards and bring temperatures back.
Frigidaire Affinity front-loaders are known for E20/E21 (won't drain — usually a clogged pump or filter) and E10/E11 (slow or no fill). We clear the pump, check the inlet valve and confirm clean drain and fill.
Frigidaire dryers that won't heat often flag a heater-circuit code (E64) and need the element or thermal limiter replaced; restricted vents lengthen cycles. We restore heat and clear the airflow path.
Frigidaire dishwashers use i-codes — i10 for fill problems and i20 for drain faults — plus leak detection that halts the cycle. We find the blocked hose, valve or pump and verify it cycles clean.
A burner that won't light or an element that won't heat traces to the igniter, element or control board. Because cooktops involve gas or mains voltage, we test and repair them safely.
Frigidaire ovens are known for F10/F11 (temperature runaway — often a failed relay or sensor) and F30-series sensor faults, plus self-clean door-lock issues. We test the sensor, relay board and element and recalibrate.
Don't see your issue? We fix it anyway — book a visit and tell us what's going on.
A customer's Frigidaire fridge was losing temperature and showing an SY EF code on the display. That points to the evaporator-fan circuit, and the fan motor had seized so cold air wasn't moving between compartments. We fitted a new evaporator fan motor, cleared the code, and confirmed both the fridge and freezer were back to spec.
A Frigidaire Affinity front-loader stopped with water in the drum and an E20 drain error. The drain pump was clogged with lint and a hair-tie had wrapped around the impeller. We cleared the pump and filter, checked the drain hose for kinks, and ran a full drain and spin to confirm the error was gone.
A Frigidaire range kept shutting down mid-bake and flashing an F10 runaway-temperature code. Testing showed a drifting oven temperature sensor feeding bad readings to the control board. We replaced the sensor, verified the relay board was healthy, and recalibrated so the oven held its set temperature steadily.
Three simple steps — most repairs are booked in under two minutes.
